Project Description:
The San Diego Convention Center Hotel Parking Facility is a seven-story parking garage that was developed by Phelps Development and Portman Holdings for the San Diego Unified Port District. The development / design-build project, consisted of 1,955 parking stalls that will be available for guests staying at the Hilton San Diego Convention Center Hotel and attending events at the Convention Center, along with affording additional parking for the San Diego Padres new downtown ballpark, and other visitors of the downtown area including the Gas Lamp District. The much needed, 592,304 SF cast-in-place concrete structure is located between Harbor Drive and the San Diego Bay, just east of where the new Hilton San Diego Convention Center Hotel will be located.
