IHG selected Phelps Development, dba Phelps IND East Village SD, LLC, as the turnkey developer for this downtown project.
Hotel Indigo is an oasis amidst the urban chaos of everyday life. Located in downtown San Diego's East Village, this 210-guestroom hotel is only blocks away from Petco Park and the Historic Gas Lamp District. This 12-story hotel has a facade that is designed to provide transparency from the street to the public spaces for maximum visibility. Hotel Indigo is known as the industry's first branded boutique hotel, artfully combining the conveniences and consistencies of a brand hotel with the design cache and service personality of a boutique.
