Project Description:

Phelps Development, teamed with Portman Holdings, was awarded a turnkey development of the new 800 room convention center hotel that will be located in downtown Nashville. It will be prominently situated directly across the street from the new 1.2M SF convention center and adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The 30-story guest tower is being designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification and will include 100,000 SF of meeting space, restaurant / bar / lounge seating for 690 guests and over 400 parking stalls. The hotel is scheduled to come on-line shortly after the new Music City Convention Center (Fall 2013).

The team is starting the commencement of the project design and engineering studies. Phelps Portman Nashville, LLC will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project and will oversee all aspects of the development process from design through construction, fit-out, start-up and opening of the hotel.
